God is doing a new thing throughout the church and we are happy to be a part of His work. The launching of our website is exciting. It is another means for us to communicate and to witness to the majesty and glory of our Saviour.

North District Bible Bowl
We salute Olivet, South Bend (Division 2) and Bethel, Marion (Division 1) for winning the North District Bible Bowl. The Young People were awesome. These two teams went on to represent us at the 4th District Christian Education Congress held in Lisle, Illinois. You guessed it, they both were champions. They were able to defeat teams from all over the Fourth District. We salute all of the young people and we encourage all of our young people to continue to study the word of God. There can be no losers when you learn the Word of God. We give a hardy thank you to our bishop, Bishop Philip R. Cousin, who personally gave every participant in the 4th District Bible Bowl a gift of $25. There were more than 70.

Delores and I are so thankful to each and every person who shared July 8, 2006 with us. God has blessed us to have fifty years of marriage and we are so very thankful. It was a marvelous day, a wonderful celebration and a blessing to us. It would not have been possible without the help of so many of your. We thank you all. Those who served as drivers, hostesses, hosts, servers, decorators, worker bees, worship participants, janitors, clergy persons, and prayer warriors, thank you, thank you, thank you.
